Beth Tweedie, Bayleys Property Amplify Case Study

With more than a decade in real estate, Beth Tweedie from Bayleys Whangarei has seen plenty of changes in both the real estate market and the marketing strategies that get the best results for vendors.

Beth was switched on to the power of social media platforms as an effective sales tool some time ago when a single post on her own Facebook page helped find a buyer for a tricky listing.

Now she promotes all her listings with campaigns through Bayleys’ automated digital advertising platform Amplify (powered by ListingLogic). More recently though Beth has used the platform to promote her own brand, with excellent results.

“Everybody is walking around with their phones in their hand all the time, so your ads need to be there with them.  You can’t be a silent real estate agent so I decided to try the platform to get my personal brand out there.

It worked really well. I kept having people say to me they were seeing me all over Facebook and Instagram.”

Beth's campaign emphasised her experience and unique expertise and included client testimonials as social proof and to bring in more engagement.

The campaign generated several direct leads and Beth has since picked up several  new listings from customers who had seen the ads.

As well as improving her profile and the reach of her listings, Beth says Amplify appeals because it is fast and simple to use.

“It’s really straightforward to use and it definitely frees up time. Everything’s right there so setting up your ads is almost instant. We’re all a bit time poor as real estate agents so that’s important.

The campaigns have great reach and can be targeted to find an audience for even tricky properties.”
